Farmer For A Day
Designed for our older students who are currently in 5th - 8th grade, each of the Farmer for a Day sessions are a small group one day event and run from 8am - 2pm. Student’s may start arriving at 7:45am. Each session will consist of activities that you would encounter as a farmer living on a farm. Our day will begin with opening the barn and milking a cow and continue with checking on and caring for all the animals on the farm. There is always work to do on the farm, but you can’t just work and not enjoy life so student’s will also have time to enjoy a hike, participate in water actvities(swimming, pedal boats, fishing), or just hang out with the animals. Each student will need to bring a sack lunch and a water bottle. Water refills will be provided. Each student MUST wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty and wet. Camp will be held rain or shine.
