This camp will start July29th.

Designed for students who are currently in kindergarten through sixth grade, the Farm Foodies Farm Camp session is one week long(mon-fri) and runs from 9am-3pm. Campers may start arriving at 8:45am. Each day will consist of lessons and hands on activities to help students learn where their food comes from and how to prepare it. We will discuss where meat comes from and possibly work with a carcass(if available) so please ensure your child is mentally able to handle a discussion on where meat comes from. We will also work with raw milk to make several dairy products, sourdough starter to make fresh bread, and canning equipment to learn how to preserve and store food. Various means of cooking will also be used(fire, grill, pizza oven, burner).

Each student will need to bring a sack lunch and water bottle. Water refill stations will be provided as well as a snack. Class size is limited to ensure that each participant has an opportunity to participate and engage in all of our activities. Each child MUST wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty and wet. Camp will be held rain or shine.
